Thanks to the fans we can play NFSU2 Once again online. Well it’s best if you have friends. Because servers often empty not many people online. You can  find some retro players at night or just any time of the day. Online works fine and it’s playable to a certain degree :).  

How to install and play. 

• Download VirtualClone Drive. from. We’ll need this to bypass game insert disc security and also to install the game https://www.elby.ch/download/SetupVCD.exe

• Download 2 Game discs.

After you downloaded both discs. Extract them.

• OPEN DISC 1 with Virtual Clone drive to install the game

  If game asks for cd-key enter this

  Installation will asks you to insert disc 2. Use virtual clone again to mount disc 2.

REMEMBER TO START THE GAME DISC 2. MUST BE MOUNTED ALL THE TIME with Virtual Clone Drive only. Other programs might not work.

Finally we have to update the game to final version. Download update and online files included.

1. Install Update first nfsu2_v1.2_us.exe
2. Copy Scripts folder and dinput8.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Underground 2

Now open the game with disc 2 mounted virtual clone drive.

Go to ONLINE option in the game and you should be able to make an account. Have fun.
